Agents Boyd O’Brien Bartholomew reported a much larger yarding of 769 head. In excess of 250 cows came to hand and sold to a fully firm market, in line with last week’s extremely strong rates. Limited pasture steers and ox came to hand and achieved great results with all buyers in attendance. Vealer and yearling heifers to slaughter sold to a much stronger market with restocker buyers and processors competing fiercely for quality lines. Feeder and restocker steers sold very well.
