13MTH OLD CHARBRAY STEERS SELL TO $2477.47/HEAD
Agents Boyd O’Brien Bartholomew reported a yarding of 632 head of cattle. The export market for cows and bullocks remained very strong this week with event signs of the bull market improving 20-30 cents a kilogram, with all export buyers present and operating. The export feeder market was stronger this week with feeder bullocks 8-10cents a kilogram dearer then last weeks strong market. Fewer trade feeders were yarded this week and sold firm on last week’s rates. Grain fed trade remained in short supply and sold to a strong panel of buyers. The backgrounder and weaner market remained fully firm with strong local interest.
