Agents Boyd O’Brien Bartholomew reported a yarding of 364 head of cattle. All descriptions were fully firm to slightly dearer on last week’s rates. A larger number of good quality store weaners came to hand and created very strong competition, weaner heifers with show potential topping at 709.2c/kg. Backgrounding and feeder steers and heifers sold very well. A reduced yarding of cows and ox retained last week’s very strong prices with cows topping at 337.2c/kg
