Agents Boyd O’Brien Bartholomew reported a reduced yarding of 265 head of cattle. The market has opened up extremely strong for all feeders and restocker descriptions exceeding 2020’s prices. Heavy feeders and backgrounders sold to a fierce panel of buyers, as a great break in the season and reduced numbers has created strong competition between paddock restockers and feedlot orders. Vealers and yearlings sold to a dearer market than last year’s strong rates. Export cattle are in short supply and those yarded sold very well.
The management of Boyd O'Brien Bartholomew would like to sincerely thank all buyers, vendors and spectators for their cooperation in following COVID-19 rules and restrictions.
