Agents Boyd O’Brien Bartholomew reported a reduced yarding of 300 head. A lesser quality yarding of cattle came to hand this week with the market remaining strong. The export market remained unchanged on last week’s good rates. With fewer numbers of good backgrounder cattle coming to hand the quality lines are remaining firm to slightly dearer. Kill vealers and yearlings remained unchanged. Quality feeder cattle are in short supply and selling to a competitive panel of buyers. Quality trade cattle remain firm.
