Agents Boyd O’Brien Bartholomew reported a yarding of 615 head of cattle. On the back of the strong results of last weeks sale increased numbers of quality cattle came to hand and sold to a very buoyant market. A large number of export cattle came to hand with the market remaining firm on last weeks rates. Quality young cattle sold very well with the lesser quality types easing slightly. Heavy feeders are still in demand and selling to a competitive panel of buyers. Trade cattle and grain assist cattle are in short supply and selling very well.
