HEAVY FEEDER STEERS TO 433.2C/KG
Agents Boyd O’Brien Bartholomew reported a reduced yarding of 352 head of cattle. A good quality yarding of cattle came to hand and sold to a slightly easier market for most description. Heavy feeder steers and quality backgrounders saw strong competition, with prices easing slightly on last weeks strong rates. Export and heavy grass trade also saw a slight decline in price with all buyers present and operating. Vealers and yearlings were least effected. Todays sale saw a correction in line with the current market trends. With yesterday marking the first day of Autumn our season is quickly running out and now is a good chance to take advantage of the great market results.
