Agents Boyd O’Brien Bartholomew reported a yarding of 396 head of cattle. Prices improved across all descriptions. With the recent falls of rain across most of the state the local restocker market improved dramatically with new highs being reached for young store cattle to return to the paddock. A large yarding of store Cows came to hand and sold to record rates. Export cattle were firm to slightly dearer on last week’s rates. Grain assisted trade are still in short supply, selling to a strong panel of buyers. A reduced yarding of feeders came to hand and sold firm on current rates.
