MARKET REPORT22ND FEBRUARY 20226 Tooth Ox Sell to $4004/head
Agents Boyd O’Brien Bartholomew reported a yarding of 442 head of cattle at Moreton. A good run of ox came to hand and sold to a dearer market, with the tops of the bullocks returning over $4000/head. A full panel of export were present and operating. A lesser quality yarding of cows came to hand this week with the prices improving 10-15 cents on last weeks rates. Feeder sold to a dearer market. Weaner and backgrounder cattle were in strong demand with competition from both local and travelled buyers.
