Agents Boyd O’Brien Bartholomew reported a weather affected yarding of 549 head of cattle. A good yarding of heavy steers and ox sold above vendors’ expectations to a very strong panel of buyers. Trade and feeder heifers sold to a much dearer market, especially for the better quality types. Lines of weaner steers and heifers met with an enthusiastic panel of buyers reaching rates we didn’t expect to see so soon.
