Agents Boyd O’Brien Bartholomew reported a yarding of 721 head of cattle. A great run of Angus feeder steers came to hand and sold to a much dearer market with the consignment averaging $6.14/kg returning magnificent results. Restocker and backgrounding steers and heifers sold well to a full panel of buyers. Over 200 cows came to hand with the heavy export cows selling to similar rates to last week and the second and third grade cows selling to a slightly easier market. Weaners and yearlings remained fully firm on last weeks strong rates.
