Agents Boyd O’Brien Bartholomew reported a yarding of 921 head of cattle. A lessor quality yarding over all descriptions created an easier market, nevertheless some great returns were still achieved. Feeder steers are selling slightly easier than a fortnight ago and a dollar per kilo more than this time last year. Tops of the cows today reaching close to $2300 with pasture ox returning $3065. Weaner steers & heifers sold to an easier market due to the lack of confidence of a deteriorating season forecast
