Agents Boyd O’Brien Bartholomew reported an increased yarding of 693 head of cattle. A large run of store condition cows sold to very strong competition with feedlots and grass fatteners making the market. Heavy & medium grade cows also sold to a dearer market. A large number of bulls sold very well with the tops of the bulls getting over $4 a kilo on numerous occasions. Heavy feeder steers are continuing to sell above vendors expectations with plenty of steers over the $2400 mark. Weaner steers and heifers remained fully firm.
