MARKET REPORT

Agents Boyd O’Brien Bartholomew reported a yarding of 370 head on Tuesday at Moreton. The export market eased in comparison to rates of late last year due to the underlying covid issues in our meat works at present. Young cattle were still in strong demand with plenty of competition for the backgrounder and weaner cattle. Trade feeders remained strong. Grain fed trade were in short supply and sold to a firm market. A smaller yarding of feeder bullocks came to hand and sold to easier rates in line with the rest of the export markets.
